Wat is het voordeel van afdwingen?

Door afdwingen wordt wachtwoordbeleid geen set aan papieren gedragsregels meer, maar een dagelijkse praktijk. Iedereen werkt met dezelfde veilige wachtwoordmanager en altijd volgens het wachtwoordbeleid, waardoor veilig gedrag de norm blijft. Hoe stel je het beleid in?

Welk beleid en eisen kun je instellen en afdwingen?

In de MindYourPass Portal stel je als beheerder beleid in ten behoeve van:
- Verplicht gebruik MindYourPass voor wachtwoordbeheer en inloggen
- Verplicht beheer van wachtwoorden onder juiste identiteit (scheiden zakelijk en privé)
- Verplicht naleven wachtwoordbeleid (lengte/complexiteit, uniek, niet-gecompromitteerd)

Hoe werkt het afdwingen?

MindYourPass controleert bij elk inlogmoment of het ingevoerde wachtwoord voldoet aan het ingestelde beleid. Voldoet een wachtwoord niet? Dan krijgt de gebruiker standaard een waarschuwing. Organisaties kunnen aanvullend het wijzigen van het wachtwoord afdwingen en toegang tot het account tijdelijk blokkeren, totdat de gebruiker het wachtwoord heeft gewijzigd naar een (gegenereerd) wachtwoord dat voldoet aan het ingestelde beleid.
